Emily A. Sprague - Cyano

The album title Cyano refers to the photographic process cyanotype, but in Emily A. Sprague’s imagination, it’s also a character. The press release takes a wildly trippy approach, though the music itself is less psychedelic. Instead, it draws us into a fairytale-like, fragile world in search of empathy and authenticity. The songs seem to drift into one another, resting on soft plucked strings and melodies occasionally interrupted by an unexpected sound. A warm enchanting journey of experimental songs.
